By submitting an order to Print Appeal, the dealer agrees to all terms and conditions listed herein regardless of those listed on the dealer's own purchase order. Every effort is made to verify and maintain the accuracy of information contained within our website and catalogs, however Print Appeal reserves the right to change this information without notice and cannot be held liable for these changes.
Order Acknowledgments
Order acknowledgements are sent for all orders within 1 business day of the order being entered to the email address on file for the account. It is the dealers' responsibility to check for any discrepancies as the order would be printed and filled accordingly. Please verify the product pricing, quantities, and shipping information on this acknowledgment and notify us of any discrepancies immediately. Emailed orders shall not be larger than 20MB (total of ALL file attachments) or we may not receive them!
Production Time
Our short-run production time typically runs 5-10 business days in house depending upon the quantity ordered, availability of stock, product type and time of year. Our long-run production time typically runs 4-12 weeks in house depending upon the quantity ordered, availability of stock, product type and time of year. Short-run digital napkins and cups typically run 10-15 business days. Production time does not begin until we have received a completed order form, any custom artwork and/or proof approval if requested for the order. Business days do not include weekends or holidays. Production time does not include shipping time. Production time does not include proofing time.
Proofing Time
An additional charge of $6.25 (G/V) per proof will be added to any order requesting a proof. Orders submitted with proof requests are not considered complete until we have received a proof approval via email responding to the original proof email with the correct verbiage. We will not take verbal approvals over the phone. Proofs are never rushed and are completed in the order they were received. You should receive your requested proof(s) within 2 business days of receipt of the electronic order confirmation. After we receive the proof approval a rush, with fee, may be necessary to complete the order by the date requested. In addition, expedited shipping may be required in order to reach you in the time requested. We will automatically add these charges to get your order to you in time if a new need by date is not specified at the time of the proof approval.
Order Change Charge
An additional charge of $6.25 (G/V) will be added to any order requesting changes to the order after the order is in production.
Artwork Change Charge
An additional charge of $12.50 (G/V) will be added to any order requesting a change in the artwork after the order is in production, plus a new artwork setup charge.
Order Cancellation Charge
An additional charge of $12.50 (G/V) will be added to any order requesting cancellation after the order confirmation, plus charges for any items printed and other fees incurred.
Color Change Charge
An additional charge of $10.00 (A/P) will be added to any order requesting a change in print colors during the middle of a run for each print color change during a single print color run.
Two Color Jobs (Multi Color Jobs) - Registration Issues
Artwork requiring close registration between different print colors may not be well suited for printing on a short production run as the registration between print colors may vary as much as an 1/8" in any direction. While we attempt to minimize this as much as possible on short run orders; we do not guarantee the registration between print colors. We reserve the right to refuse any orders requesting two or more print colors.
Ink Color Match
We charge $15.00 (NET) for PMS color matching, however color match is only guaranteed plus or minus one color shade on white or clear items. We cannot guarantee color match on colored items. We will make every effort to obtain as close a printed match to the requested color on orders requesting a PMS color on a colored item, however we will not be responsible for shade variations.
Product Color Variations
We cannot assume responsibility for slight shade variations of products or print colors. Environmental concerns and manufacturer productions cause changes beyond our control which are typical variations in the industry. Please advise your customers accordingly.
Scratches & Scuffs on Plastics
We will not be responsible for scratches & scuffs on plastics as this is a common occurrence in the production, printing, stacking and shipping of such products and we do not consider this a defect. While every attempt is made to prevent these from occurring through our handling, customers must assume this risk on all orders.
Napkin Sizes, Folds & Borders
We will not be responsible for variations in napkin sizes, folds and/or borders as these vary occasionally in the production process with the manufacturer. These variations are not considered a defect.
Ink Odor
Screen and Pad printed items are printed with inks that must evaporate to dry. The ink will dry but there may be a residual odor from the vapors. This odor, if detectable, is not considered a defect.
Ink Adhesion
Plastic cups and plates are sold as disposable and one time use only even though some products may be marked as residential top rack dishwasher safe. Due to variables between inks, ink additives, & plastics beyond our control the imprint is not guaranteed to stay on.
Foil Adhesion
Although foil printing creates a more beautiful and dramatic look, it may have a tendency to bleed, rub off, fill in or blur slightly. With foil imprinting, the foil sits on top of the napkin rather than absorbing into the napkin like traditional ink printing. The foil printed portion of the napkin is intended for presentation only and should not be used to wipe hands or face. Getting the napkins wet will cause the foil stamp to release from the napkin material. Please advise your customers accordingly.
Over / Under Run
An accidental over or under run of 5% will constitute a complete order. Every attempt will be made to minimize these amounts so please advise your customers and order appropriately.
Repeat Orders
A printed sample or a copy of the printed product must accompany any order requesting exactly as last order. For print color matches a printed sample must be provided. Print Appeal will not be responsible for misprinted repeat orders without a provided copy or sample.
Claims & Returns
Custom imprinted items are not returnable or refundable for credit unless there is a factory error. Print Appeal must be notified within 48 hours of receipt of an order if there is a shortage or other problem with the order not related to shipping. Shipping related claims must be filed directly with the freight carrier (See Shipping Info/Claims). All claims or returns must be approved by Print Appeal within 5 days of receipt of order and product must be returned within 30 days for credit. Print Appeal must be notified immediately if a shipment is refused or returned for any reason. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted and the customer will be invoiced for any freight charges incurred for unauthorized return shipments.
